Integrated Care and Consultation, LLC is growing rapidly and is looking for a mental health therapist at our Sioux Falls office. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems while looking at “the Whole Person.” Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.

Responsibilities for mental health therapist

  • Complete a mental health diagnostic assessment on new patients
  • Provide high quality ongoing therapy with patients
  • Maintain complete, prompt, and organized outpatient electronic health records
  • Ensure appropriate coordination of care for patients and collaboration with other professionals
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings including case and peer reviews
  • We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Evaluates patient's condition and history, formulates and implement treatment plans
  • Actively promotes Behavioral Health Services to the community
  • Develops and coordinates services with outside social agencies to maximize the impact of the treatment process. Ability to work together on a team approach.

Qualifications for mental health therapist

  • Adjust approach to reflect the developmental level and diagnostic presentation of the individual and/or family needs
  • Complete all required assessment tools and documentation to support initial and on-going managed care authorizations
  • Must possess a Masters Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related human services field and a valid South Dakota licensure (LMHC/LCSW/) preferably with at least 1 year post-licensure experience providing direct therapy.
  • Knowledge of the theory and practice of psychology and human development, including the practical problems involved in giving varied types of tests and in scoring, analyzing and interpreting tests and test results
  • Master's degree and licensed in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work.
